To celebrate David’s upcoming 65th birthday on May 15 2006, Sue and David spent three days in London from Thursday 11th–Sunday 14th seeing American Musicals.

Thursday 11th May: Guys and Dolls at the Piccadilly Theatre

We stayed at the Flemings Mayfair Hotel in Half Moon Street, just off Piccadilly, opposite Green Park.

we nipped in for a 2for1 Harry Ramsden special offer in the restaurant opposite the Piccadilly Theatre ...

... where we saw Guys and Dolls.
Friday 12th May: riding round the town on an open top bus followed by Chicago at the Cambridge Theatre

Taking the Original Bus Tour round London in the morning and afternoon.

They’re changing guard at Buckingham Palace.

Westminster Abbey ...

... Parliament.

Off on a river cruise ...

... down to Tower Bridge ...

... past the Tower of London ...

... past the bridge to turn round and go back ...

City Hall ...

... relaxing on the journey back.

A Moroccan meal in the evening ...

... followed by Chicago.
Saturday 13th May: The London Eye followed by The Producers at the Theatre Royal, Drury Lane.
