In recent months I haven’t travelled much because I need to let my ageing bones rest and to get on writing a book on How Humans Learn to Think Mathematically. It isn’t easy doing creative writing when dashing from pillar to post. But staying at home can have so many pleasures, as I realized today with things happening at home and e-mails arriving with photos of all the grandchildren whom we will be visting in the coming days. Despite the credit crunch, there is much to be happy about. |
